How AMPLIFI TMS works
AMPLIFI targets two key brain regions using specialized stimulation techniques:
- Dorsomedial Prefrontal Cortex (DMPFC)
- Location: Top center of the head
- Treatment: iTBS (intermittent Theta Burst Stimulation)
- Duration: ~3 minutes
- Right Orbitofrontal Cortex (rOFC)
- Location: Right front side of the forehead
- Treatment: cTBS (continuous Theta Burst Stimulation)
- Duration: ~40 seconds
Medication Support for Enhanced Results
To boost treatment response, patients take two medications one hour before each treatment day:
- Lisdexamfetamine (20 mg): Improves brain responsiveness
- D-cycloserine (125 mg): Supports learning and emotional processing
