Psychiatrist Bill Harrington, MD, joins Breakthru Psychiatric Solutions to lead the newly established Tucker clinic. Driven by the potential of neuromodulation and interventional medications to help those struggling with treatment-resistant mental health conditions, Dr. Harrington is committed to delivering cutting-edge care that fosters recovery.

Dr. Harrington graduated from Trinity School of Medicine in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and recently completed his psychiatry residency at the Piedmont Psychiatry Residency Program in Macon, GA. During his training, he refined his skills and developed a deep appreciation for the complexity of mental health challenges. He has also presented research on the interactions between psychiatric medications and TMS outcomes, showcasing his commitment to advancing evidence-based practice.

At Breakthru Psychiatric Solutions, Dr. Harrington is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care that combines advanced interventions with a compassionate approach, partnering with patients on their journey toward mental wellness and renewed vitality. In his practice, he integrates psychotherapeutic principles like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure-response prevention (ERP), and motivational interviewing (MI) with treatment plans to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Drawing from his background in education, he excels at translating complex psychiatric concepts into accessible terms, empowering patients to actively engage in their treatment journey.

Deeply committed to promoting mental health awareness, Dr. Harrington has participated in initiatives led by Mercer University and the Macon/Bibb County Health Department. As he looks to the future, he aims to expand access to life-changing interventional therapies in the northeastern Atlanta area and advance research in the field of interventional psychiatry.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Harrington finds balance and joy in outdoor recreation, including hiking, camping, rock climbing, snowboarding, and water skiing, as well as attending live music concerts.
